B&J EQUIPMENT was established in 1966 as a service station equipment company and Gilbarco distributor. In 2000, the company was purchased by Stephen Scott and Tim Dumas and then moved from the old Cotton Street location to our current facility in 2003. In 2005 we became a Gilbarco Distributor in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and in 2006 purchased the other Gilbarco distributor in the area, Dallas Pump.
Our many loyal customers have kept sales strong in both markets despite ever-changing marketing strategies by vendors and competition alike. A constant commitment to quality and the high level of expertise and training of our technicians has given us an edge in competing with larger companies. Our commitment to quality and a desire for a long-term relationship with our customers has been apparent to customers who compare us head-to-head against the competition.
As a Gilbarco/Veeder-Root trainer, Mike Thompson brings 35 years of petroleum equipment experience to the classroom. With classes on Passport, Encore, Veeder Root 350/450, Red Jacket and Gasboy Fleet Plus, the schedule stays busy but we always find time for Manager Training or questions.
